Windmill Lane

Was out today taking a look around the dockland area in Dublin, having a look around for some interesting spots to do my practical photography assignment for college. I was heading down to the Grand Canal Theatre when I came across the U2 Graffiti Wall at Windmill Lane Studios. I thought all the colours were amazing. I took a load of photos on my film camera as well as my digital only to realize that the film had never wound on so there were actually no photos on the film at all. Fantastic!!
Anyway, here's some of the photos I took on my digital camera.
I love the contrast between the colourful walls and the dull gate.

This building looks a little bit like a prison. I think the chain link fence helps with that effect though.

I just absolutely love all the colour in this picture.

I found it funny that even the sign post and the parking ticket machine were even covered in graffiti!

This was a very lucky shot. The graffiti artist happened to leave a bag lying around and I just happened to find it.

Again, I just love the colours.

I don't know if it was the intention of the graffiti artist, but I saw this and it reminded me of two songs both called 'Know Your Enemy' by Rage Against The Machine and Green Day. I thought it was quite a statement whether it was intentional or not.
